An elegant Ultra Slow Motion film production for GBH London now on display at L'Hotel du Collectionneur, Paris.
L'Hotel du Collectionneur is the largest five star Parisian hotel, named and famed for its collection of priceless art deco artefacts. In 2018 it embarked upon a refurbishment of its flagship restaurant, which design agency GBH London renamed Le Collectionneur.
As part of the design concept GBH London tasked Gecko with the creation of a film to be on display at the restaurant. After GBH London designed the brief and storyboards it was clear that this would be an amazing production if filmed in slow motion.
Directed and edited by Jonathan Lax, this film required an eclectic array of unique artifacts to pass by the camera. Falling artifacts were layered on top of each other to combine many many shots into a slowly building cascade of metal and feathers.
